How to create a strong password
- Choose a length — 16 or more is a good default.
- Pick which character types to include. More types means a stronger password.
- Click Generate, then Copy and store it in your password manager.
What makes a password strong?
Length matters most: each extra character multiplies the number of possible combinations. A mix of uppercase, lowercase, numbers and symbols makes it far harder to guess. Avoid real words, names and dates. Use a unique password for every account, and a password manager to remember them.
Is it private and safe?
Yes. Passwords are generated with your browser's cryptographically secure random generator, entirely on your device. Nothing is ever uploaded, stored or transmitted.
