Using the tools
You may use any tool for any lawful purpose, with no account and no payment. You are responsible for the files you process and for having the right to use them. Do not use the tools to process material that infringes someone else's rights or that is unlawful where you live.
Your files stay with you
The tools work inside your browser on your own device. We do not receive, store or have access to the files you process, which also means we cannot recover them. Keep a copy of any original you cannot afford to lose. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
No warranty
We test our tools, but software and file formats are complicated. The service and everything on it, including tools, guides, sizes and specifications, is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not promise that a tool will be error free, that its output will suit your purpose, or that the site will always be available. Always check important results, such as a compressed legal document or a converted file you are about to publish, before relying on them.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Toolyard and the people who run it are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profit or opportunity, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

The articles on this site are general information, written to help you use the tools and understand common tasks. Platform requirements such as image sizes change often. They are not professional, legal, medical or financial advice. If you find a mistake, please tell us and we will correct it.
Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorized access to the site or its hosting.
- Do not scrape the site at a rate that affects other visitors, or resell the site's content as your own.
- Do not use automated means to generate artificial ad impressions or clicks.
Content ownership
The text, design and code of Toolyard belong to its operator. You may link to any page and quote short excerpts with attribution. Files you process remain yours, and we claim no rights over them or over their output.
