How to split a PDF

  1. Drop your PDF, or click to browse. The page count is shown.
  2. To keep some pages, enter a range (for example 2 to 5) and click Extract range.
  3. To break it up completely, click Save each page separately — every page downloads as its own PDF.

When is splitting useful?

Splitting lets you pull a single chapter from a book, separate one invoice from a batch, or remove pages you don't need before sharing. It's faster than printing and re-scanning, and keeps the original quality.

Is it private and safe?

Yes. Toolyard splits your PDF inside your browser on your own device. Your file is never uploaded anywhere, so confidential documents stay private.
